It's a boy!

Sorry, this news is so late on my blog... but we found out about a month ago that we're having a little boy!! We are both very excited and very scared! (Not just about having a boy, but a baby in general.) And I don't know what having a girl inside your uterus is like, but I know that this boy is super active! He is always moving.

I've been having baby dreams the past several weeks. My first baby dream, my baby was actually a girl (I guess my head wasn't ready to admit we were having a boy yet.) But ever since that one, all my other dreams have been a little boy. And let me tell you - if my dreams are prophetic at all, this is going to be one handsome little boy! I can't wait to hold him. :)

In other news, Doug and I are moving back to Idaho. Doug got a design job there (30 minutes away from where we used to live) so back to the cold, brown countryside of Idaho. :) Doug's actually already there. He moved yesterday. I will be going down there on the 8th. Which seemed like a sensible idea when it was decided, but now that my husband is hundreds of miles away from me, the decision seems more and more stupid with every passing hour. (I have no idea how army wives do it) I think our dog, Owen is missing his tug o'war partner too. I try to fill in, but I just don't have the stamina for the game, like Doug does. Plus, being pregnant really knocks the wind out of me. A little activity and I feel like I've just climbed Mt. Everest.

I'm 24 weeks and 4 days pregnant today. I would post a little belly shot - but it's not really anything to look at yet, so you're just going to have to be patient. But don't worry, I'm not one of those pregnant ladies who don't believe in snapping pictures while pregnant because I'll just look fat. I am all for the bump. I love belly shots. So as soon as I have a good belly, I'll share it with the world. :)
